  2.  VLANs and trunking (802.1Q), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel, Wireless networking basics
  3. Routing concepts, Static routing and default routes, Dynamic routing protocols (OSPF mainly, also basics of EIGRP), First Hop Redundancy Protocols (e.g., HSRP)

  4. NAT, NTP, DHCP, DNS, Quality of Service (QoS) concepts, SNMP, syslog, TFTP/FTP basics

  5. Access Control Lists (ACLs), Port security, VPN basics, device hardening, Fundamentals of automation (REST APIs, configuration management)

  6. Working with Firewall (checkpoint)

  7. Working with IPS (Checkpoint)
  8. WLAN configuration (SSID, WPA2/WPA3, authentication), Wireless architecture components (WLC, APs, LWAPP, CAPWAP)

  9. RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) vs STP differences

  10. OSPF areas, neighbor adjacencies, LSAs, and DR/BDR concepts
  11. IPv6 routing basics (link-local addresses, global unicast)
  12. Capsone Project

    This Module is a continous study of Network Administration in Level 1. This is a level 2 unit, which contains more advance topics and labs, that are taken from CCNA labs. 

    The programme aims to promote an understanding of the advanced network administration level. This includes topics in switching and routing, firewall, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and other advance network topics.

    Any certificate or degree in IT or IS. This may include

    2. Bachelor of IT or related

    4. Graduate Diploma of IT or related
    5. PhD of IT or related
    6. Relevant experience
